O+S is yet another new alias for Orenda Fink, formerly of Azure Ray and Art in Manila. Despite the fact all of her bands feature different collaborators (the other half of O+S is Scalpelist of Remy Zero), Fink would probably be better off simply releasing albums under her own name since it is her voice that drives each project. If you liked any of Fink’s previous bands, you’ll like O+S. Their self-titled debut will be released on March 24th.

i hadn’t gotten a good look at this yet but i hear orenda didn’t do all the writing on this? she’s one of my favorite musical poets and of course there’s that incredible voice. and she’s so damn underrated — good to see her name here. kudos. -f-
