The following cover of Bo Diddley’s “I’m A Man” is a brilliant churn of noisy garage rock and blistering harmonica blues by L.A. band The Morlocks. The Morlock’s new album The Morlocks Play Chess features covers of twelve songs originally released by classic blues label Chess Records – home to such legends as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James, John Lee Hooker, and Muddy Waters. The album will be released on August 24th.
