Fans of Luminescent Orchestrii take note: there’s a new band of gypsies in town. Croatian turned Californian band Diego’s Umbrella set Eastern European folk ablaze in the American West. Their new album, Proper Cowboy, churns rock and electro-pop with frenzied gypsy instrumentation and a lil bit of cowboy flare for what they call “a futuristic Spaghetti-Western soundtrack.” Standout tracks are “Thrash Mexican Budapest” (watch the video below) and “Six Little Fools.” You can download a free, legal mp3 from the album by signing up for the band’s email list at Diego’s Umbrella Official Site.
