The Playbillies – a bluegrass band who perform covers of Broadway hits – have turned their hand to Hamilton. It starts off a little underwhelming but just you wait…

No offence to The Playbillies, but this whets my appetite for a Punch Brothers cover album a la Ryan Adams’ 1989. Here’s another genre-bending Hamilton cover – The Penn Band’s rendition of “My Shot.”
