As I posted last week, Google has taken over Feedburner and is forcing Feedburner users to move to Google in order to keep their feeds.

Because of this, I have attempted to to change all external feed subscriptions to the direct feed (http://www.muruch.com/feed). So far I have only been successful with Hype Machine, Elbo.ws and Livejournal.

It appears there is no way to edit the current feed in Google Reader or Bloglines, so I had to create new feeds at each site. The new feeds are: Google Reader and Bloglines.

If you subscribe to Muruch through any other site or feed reader, you will need to re-add Muruch using the direct feed.

For the convenience of everyone else, I do plan to move the Feedburner account as Google demands. But I don’t know if this will break the old Feedburner links. Also, as I mentioned before this could mean that Google may delete feed posts the way they have Blogger posts. So I’ll move the account, but unless subscribers switch to the new Muruch feed, I can’t guarantee you’ll continue receiving feed updates.

I keep updated subscription links on the sidebar of the main page, so if you stop receiving updates at any time, just check under “Subscribe” to see if anything has changed. Thanks!

[...] Feed subscribers: I’ve temporarily changed Muruch’s feed to summary, so you’ll need to visit the site to download mp3s and read full reviews. I’m having trouble with a few websites hotlinking my mp3s and re-posting my content. Normally I just ignore such annoyances, but this is resulting in some Google indexing issues since Muruch has moved to its own domain. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and I’ll reinstate the full summary once it is corrected. Thanks! [...]
